17 Jun 2021 : A new site host ..... It is with grateful thanks that the the Tharston Past website will be hosting the DFHG web pages for the time being ....

12 Jun 2021 : THE WAY FORWARD ..... At last things seem to be looking up and perhaps we can see a tiny chink of light at the end of the tunnel. Most of us will have had our covid jabs and at the moment we can actually meet outside under the Rule of 6. We will be starting our house meetings again this month. They will be free afternoon social meetings with tea and cake so that we can all get to know each other again. As numbers will be limited It will be by personal invitation only and all members will receive an invitation in turn.

8 Feb 2021 : This is where we begin ..... We are a very small independent group interested in the study of family, local and social history. Some of our members have Norfolk and Suffolk ancestors but many are researching ancestors from all over Britain. Most of our members live in Norfolk or Suffolk but there are those who live as far away as America. This is the start of our new website....
