Alice ALGER (c. 1885-c. 1941)

Alice ALGER, daughter of Harry ALGER (c. 1851-c. 1930) and Caroline BELL (c. 1852-c. 1931), was born c. 1885 in Diss, Norfolk. She appeared in the census in 1891 at Mount Street in Diss - 6, living with parents Harry (40, gardener) and Caroline (39), and siblings Elizabeth (17, stay maker), Harry H (16, serve bricklayer), James (13, serve baker), Florence (12, scholar), Sydney (10), John Ed (9) and Thomas (8).¹ She died c. 1941.
