Robert James LANCHESTER (c. 1899- )

Robert James LANCHESTER, son of James LANCHESTER (1868-c. 1944) and Frances Maria BRIGGS (1875-c. 1954), was born c. 1899 in Kenninghall, Norfolk. He appeared in the census in 1901 at Lodge Farm Cottage in Kenninghall - 1, living with parents James (32, teamster on farm) and Frances (25) and brother Leonard (8 mos).¹ He appeared in the census in 1911 at Dam Green in Kenninghall - 11, scholar, living with grandparents Robert (71) and Mary (71), uncle Robert (45, farm labourer), and brother William (9, scholar).²
