Alfred John LANCHESTER (1907-c. 2000)

Alfred John LANCHESTER, son of James LANCHESTER (1868-c. 1944) and Frances Maria BRIGGS (1875-c. 1954), was born on 17 Mar 1907 in Kenninghall, Norfolk. He was baptised on 28 Jan 1910 in Kenninghall. - b. 17.03.1907.¹ Alfred appeared in the census in 1911 at Kenninghall Lodge in Kenninghall - 3, living with parents James (41, horseman on farm) and Frances Maria (35), and siblings Leonard (10, scholar), Frederick G (8), Charles Biggs (6), Hilda Mary (5), Norman Thomas (2), James (1) and Albert Edward (4 mos).² In 1931 the Electoral Register showed him living at Hall Cottages, Fersfield, Norfolk - qualification by residency. Alfred died c. 2000.
