Introduction

The Thrandeston History Group (THG) has been recently set up to research the physical and social history of Thrandeston, a very small village in Suffolk on the border with Norfolk and about 2 miles from Diss.

Resources are held by members of the group and we are currently compiling a list of records, documents, 18th to 20th century, and books, to record what we have and where they are held. We currently have about 300 good quality recent and historic photographs of the village and its residents. We are looking to set up events to support villagers with their research.
