Doris CATTERMOLE, daughter of Hedley Dick CATTERMOLE (1883-1956) and Alice Ella MARKWELL (1882-c. 1945), was born c. 1916. She appeared in the census in 1921 at Tottington Lane in Roydon, Norfolk - 5:02, scholar, living with parents Hedley (38:01, storeman working for Youngs Crawshay brewers) and Alice (39:04, home duties), and siblings Ivy (15:02, out of work) and Leonard (10:04, scholar).¹
