Reuben SHELDRAKE (c. 1861-c. 1946)

Reuben SHELDRAKE, son of Charles SHELDRAKE (1834-c. 1861) and Charlotte SELF (c. 1837-c. 1924), was born c. 1861 in Burston, Norfolk. He was baptised on 11 Aug 1861 in Burston. - same time as brother Osborne Charles.¹ Reuben appeared in the census in 1871 at Audly End, Burston, Norfolk in Burston - 10, living with parents Richard (40, farmer of 7 acres) and Charlotte (34), siblings Osborn (11), Rosetta (7) and Benjamin (1), and great grandfather Thomas SELF (widower, 93).² He appeared in the census in 1881 in Burston - 19, agricultural labourer, living with stepfather Richard PRENTICE (50, farmer), mother Charlotte PRENTICE, step brother Benjamin PRENTICE (12, scholar), and siblings Osborn C (21, coal porter) and Rosilla (17, dressmaker).³ He died c. 1946.
