Robert was born on 29 Jun 1866 in Kenninghall.¹³ He was baptised on 29 Apr 1872 in Kenninghall.¹⁴ He appeared in the census in 1881 at Grange Road Yard in Kenninghall - 15, labourer, living with parents Robert (41, agricultural labourer) and Frances M (41), and children James (17, agricultural labourer), Alice M (13), Frances M (5, scholar) and William (2).⁴ He appeared in the census in 1911 at Dam Green in Kenninghall - 45, farm labourer, living with parents Robert (71) and Mary (71), and nephews Robert LANCHESTER (11, scholar) and William (9, scholar).⁵ He died c. 1917.¹⁵
		Alice M BRIGGS (c. 1868- ). Alice was born c. 1868 in Kenninghall. She was baptised on 29 Apr 1872 in Kenninghall. - age 4yrs.¹⁴ Alice appeared in the census in 1881 at Grange Road Yard in Kenninghall - 13, living with parents Robert (41, agricultural labourer) and Frances M (41), and children James (17, agricultural labourer), Robert (15, labourer), Frances M (5, scholar) and William (2).⁴
		Frances Maria BRIGGS (1875-c. 1954). Frances was born on 19 Jun 1875 in Kenninghall.^16,17,18 She was baptised on 5 Sep 1875 in Kenninghall. - aged 2months 16days.¹⁷ Frances appeared in the census in 1881 at Grange Road Yard in Kenninghall - 5, scholar, living with parents Robert (41, agricultural labourer) and Frances M (41), and children James (17, agricultural labourer), Robert (15, labourer), Alice M (13) and William (2).⁴ She appeared in the census in 1891 at The Green in Shelfanger, Norfolk - 15, general domestic servant, living in the household of Nelson LANHAM (51, farmer) and his family.¹⁹ She and James LANCHESTER had marriage banns published on 15 Sep 1895 in Kenninghall. - other dates were 22.09.1895 and 29.09.1895.²⁰ Frances married James LANCHESTER on 1 Oct 1895 in Hargham, Norfolk - both fathers were labourers. The marriage was witnessed by Horace LANCHESTER and Eliza Jane LANCHESTER. The ceremony was conducted by Rev. W W TYLER.^21,22 She appeared in the census in 1901 at Lodge Farm Cottage in Kenninghall - 25, living with husband James (32, teamster on farm) and sons Robert (1) and Leonard (8 mos).²³ She appeared in the census in 1911 at Kenninghall Lodge in Kenninghall - 35, living with husband James (41, horseman on farm) and children Leonard (10, scholar), Frederick G (8), Charles Biggs (6), Hilda Mary (5), Alfred (3), Norman Thomas (2), James (1) and Albert Edward (4 mos) - 14 children to couple, 10 still living.²⁴ In 1919 the Electoral Register showed her living at Diss Road, Kenninghall, Norfolk. In 1925 the Electoral Register showed her living at The Street, Fersfield, Norfolk. In 1931 the Electoral Register showed her living at Hall Cottages, Fersfield, Norfolk - qualification by residency and by husband's occupation. Frances was recorded on the 1939 Register living at Lodge Cottages in Fersfield, Norfolk. - domestic duties, b. 19.06.1875.¹⁶ Frances died c. 1954.²⁵
		William BRIGGS (1878- ). William was born on 17 Jul 1878 in Kenninghall.^26,27 He appeared in the census in 1881 at Grange Road Yard in Kenninghall - 2, living with parents Robert (41, agricultural labourer) and Frances M (41), and children James (17, agricultural labourer), Robert (15, labourer), Alice M (13) and Frances M (5, scholar).⁴ He was baptised on 8 Jun 1890 in Kenninghall.²⁶
