Thomas Ellis Edmund STANNARD, son of Thomas Ellis STANNARD (c. 1877- ) and Caroline RAYNER (c. 1880- ), was born c. 1903 in Diss, Norfolk. He appeared in the census in 1911 at Denmark Green in Diss - 8, living with parents Thomas Ellis (34, coal merchant) and Caroline (31), and siblings John Edmund (6), Eileen (5), George William (3) and Phyllis (2).¹
