John Muskett single man son of Andrew Muskett of Thelveton in the County of Norfolk Farmer: and Anne Hart single woman daughter of George Hart of Flordon in the aforesaid County Farmer. Having declared their intentions of taking each other in marriage before ????? public meeting of the People of God called Quakers in Tivitshall Norfolk according to the good order used among them, whose proceedings therein, after a deliberate consideration thereof (with regard into the Righteous Law of God, and example of his people recorded in the Scriptures of truth in that case) were approved by the said meetings, they appearing clear of all others and having consent of parties and relations concerned. Now these are to certifie all whom it may concern, that for the full accomplishing of their said intentions this twenty sixth day of the eighth month call October in the year according to the English account, one thousand seven hundred and thirty six they the said John Muskett and Anne Hart appeared in a publick assemby of the aforesaid people and others, not together for the purpose in their public meeting place at Tisborough in the aforesaid county and in a solomn manner, he the said John Muskett takeing the said Anne Hart be the hand, did openly declare as followeth, Friends in the Fear of God I desire you to be my witnesses that I take this my most esteemed Anne Hart to be my wife promising thro' the Lord's assistance to be unto her a loveing and faithfull husband until it shall please God to separate us by death and then and their in the said assembly the said Anne Hart doth in the like manner declare as followeth Friends in the Fear of God I desire you to be my witnesses that I take this my most esteemed friend John Muskett to be my husband promising thro' the Lord's assistance to be unto him a loveing and faithfull wife until it shall please God to separate us by death and the said John Muskett and Anne Hart as a further confirmation thereof, did then, and their to those present set their hands. And we whose names are hereunto subscribed, being present among others at the solomnizing of their said marriage and subscription in manner aforesaid, as witnesses hereunto have also to those present subscribed our names, the day and year above written
