Note on Wife: Mary Ann ELVIN

The early life of Mary Ann Elvin is something of a mystery. We have a birth place of Sinfield but the only references to this place is in Census returns for Mary Ann and in a Norwich Methodist Circuit list of places on that circuit. Research by several people have suggested that her birth place was Silfield but as yet have no firm proof of this.
