The Rev. G. Beevor was on Friday instituted to the Rectories of Tasburgh, In Suffolk, on the presentation of Sir T. Beaver, and of North Cove with Wellingham, in Suffolk, on the presentation of the King. [George Beevor was rector of Tasburgh from 24 Nov 1797 to 17 Dec 1804. He had been ordained as a priest on 11 Jun 1786 by the Bishop of Norwich, Lewis Bagot and previous to Tasburgh had been rector at Felmingham, Willingham St. Mary and North Cove, and Wilby after Tasburgh. He died on 14 Jul 1810.]

Monday last the Rev. Ellis Burroughes, A. M. was instituted to the Rectory of Tasburgh in this county, on the presentation of Sir Thomas Beevor, Bart. [Comments: Ellis Burroughes , born 28 Mar 1764 in Long Stratton, was rector of Tasburgh from 17 Dec 1804 to 12 Jan 1832. He had been ordained as a priest on 8 Aug 1790 by the Bishop of Norwich, George Horne and previous to Tasburgh had been rector at Stowlangtoft and Sutton, and stipendary posts at Long Stratton St. Michael and Morningthorpe.
