Military:Very little has been found about Malteyward’s military service. The Absent Voter list shows him as Private 18704, 1st Bn. Buffs (Royal East Kent Regiment). His Pension Index Card also shows him as having served in the Territorial Reserve and Royal Fusiliers. It is possible that on the 7 October 1919 he le? military service, returning to Mal?ng Farm, South Lopham.
