The Commonwealth War Graves Commission grave registration entry for Leonard was “CORBETT, Pte. LEONARD JOSEPH, 14648488. 1st Bn. The Loyal Regt. (North Lancashire). 31st March, 1944, Age 23. Son of Richard and Florence Thurston, of South Lopham, Norfolk.” Leonard is buried/commemorated at Naples War Cemetery - II. G. 14.
