Death:18.09.1918 : France
Military:Bertram was attested on 20 January 1915. On 11 October 1915 Bertram he was posted to 9th Battalion Norfolk Regiment, Private, ser. no. 18400. Over his time in the Norfolk Regiment he was posted to several different Battalions, ending up again in the 9th Battalion on 02.08.1918. He died on 18 September 1918 in France - killed in action. The Commonwealth War Graves Commission grave registration entry for Bertram was - COCKSEDGE, Ptr. Bertram, 18400. 9th Bn. Norfolk Regt. 18th Sept., 1918. Bertram is commemorated at Vis-En-Artois Memorial - Panel 4.
