BUNNING - JARROLD

The wedding took place at the Methodist Church, Coney Weston, on Saturday, between Miss Violet E. W. Jarrold, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jarrold, of Coney Weston, and Mr. Stanley H. Bunning, of Street Farm, Coney Weston.

The Rev. E. Livesley, of Thetford, officiated, and during the service the hymns, "Praise, my soul the King of Heaven" and "O Father, all Creating," were sung. Mrs. Housden presided at the organ.

The bride, who was given away by her father, was attired in a pink satin dress, her pink veil and wreath of orange blossoms being lent by her sister. Her bouquet of pink carnations and fern was afterwards placed on her mother's grave. The bridesmaid, Miss Bertha Jarrold (sister), was attired in an ankle-length dress of blue satin with blue satin shoes, stockings, gloves and headdress to tone. She also wore a gold signet ring (the gift of the bridegromm) and carried a sheaf of shaded delphiniums. On leaving the church the bride was presented with a silver horseshoe by her niece, and two silver bells by a little friend, Jean Orves, who also presented the bridegroom with a sprig of heather. The best man was Mr. Henry Hailstone (cousin of the bride).

The reception was held at the bride's home, where about 30 guests assembled and later the happy couple left for their future home at Goswold Hall, Thrandeston. The bride travelled in a blue two-piece, with hat to tone. The church had been prettily decorated by Mrs. Housden and Mrs. Cox (London).
