Sarah Ann Coe MURTON was born c. 1876 in Spennymore, Durham. He appeared in the census in 1921 at Meadow Farm in North Lopham - 56.04, farmer and seedsman, employer, living with wife Srah Ann Coe (45.10) and children Ruth (21.09, assistant nurse in institution), Sidney (20.11, agricultural labourer), George Adam (15.07, agricultural labourer), Lloyd (9.03, full time scholar) and Leila (6.08, full time scholar).1 He and Sarah Ann Coe MURTON had the following children:

 

 

 

Ruth AVES (c. 1899- ). Ruth was born c. 1899 in Mildenhall. She appeared in the census in 1921 at Meadow Farm in North Lopham - 21.09, assistant nurse in institution, living with parents George Edwin (56.04, farmer and seedsman, employer) and Sarah Ann Coe (45.10), and siblings Sidney (20.11, agricultural labourer), George Adam (15.07, agricultural labourer), Lloyd (9.03, full time scholar) and Leila (6.08, full time scholar).1

 

 

Sidney AVES (1900-1981). Sidney was born on 30 Jul 1900 in Mildenhall.2,3 He appeared in the census in 1901 at Bagsham Road in Mildenhall - 8 mos, living with parents Edwin G (36, gardener and seedsman, and employer) and Sarah A (25), sister Ruth (1), and uncle John (19, under gardener).4 He appeared in the census in 1911 at Meadow House in North Lopham - 10, scholar, living with parents George Edwin (46, farmer) and Sarah Ann (35), and siblings Ruth (11, scholar), Elsie (9, scholar), Edwin John (8, scholar), Annie (7, scholar), Hilda (6, scholar), Maud (6, scholar), George Adam (5, scholar), Zillah (2, scholar) and Albert (2).5 He appeared in the census in 1921 at Meadow Farm in North Lopham - 20.11, agricultural labourer, living with parents George Edwin (56.04, farmer and seedsman, employer) and Sarah Ann Coe (45.10), and siblings Ruth (21.09, assistant nurse in institution), George Adam (15.07, agricultural labourer), Lloyd (9.03, full time scholar) and Leila (6.08, full time scholar).1 In 1922 the Electoral Register showed him living at Meadow House, North Lopham, Norfolk - living with his parents.6 Sidney married Beryl May ELSEY c. 1923.7 In 1930 the Electoral Register showed him living at Meadow House Farm, North Lopham, Norfolk.8 Sidney was recorded on the 1939 Register living at Thwaites Green in Fersfield, Norfolk. - farmer, b. 30.07.1900.2 Sidney died on 10 Jun 1981 in Fersfield - reg: Depwade Norfolk.9,10 He had his estate probated on 19 Aug 1981 in Ipswich, Suffolk - "AVES Sidney of Row Farm Fersfield Norfolk died 10 June 1981 Probate Ipswich 19 August £18808 811102643W".10
